From 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. - Basketball tie transitions

A workshop around a very classic harness approached for dynamic use in suspension which allows for a lot of fun and intensity!

 

Level: Intermediate level

 

Prerequisites: must come in pairs. Master a suspendable torso harness as well as the basics of line management and have your own set of at least six ropes.

From 1 p.m. to 2 p.m. - Lunch time > Catering tickets available below at 8 euros per person.

From 2 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. - Self-tethering in semi-suspension

Self-suspension consists of tying oneself up alone to suspend oneself, of simultaneously experiencing the roles of attache and attachee for sensual and sensory self-exploration. If this practice remains very trying in the mix between relaxation, physical intensity and requires a lot of rigor and attention to ensure one's own safety, we will choose here to explore it only in semi-suspension to explore the constraint more freely. We will put technical complexity aside to undertake research into self-sensoriality thanks to the materiality of the rope.

 

Level: beginner + / intermediate

 

Prerequisites: mastery of basic shibari frictions

From 5 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. - Introduction to strappado

By joining the outstretched arms behind the back, the strappado harness fixes the body in a very restrictive position, sought after for its slender silhouette and intense sensations. This workshop offers learning to tie strappado and its variations to the ground, discussing the unique challenges that this harness poses to the person attached but also to the person doing the tying.

 

Level: Beginner level

 

Prerequisites: know a single-column tie, have already taken at least one shibari course. Come in pairs required. Rope loans possible.

From 8 p.m. to 11 p.m. - Perfs & Jam evening!

On the evening's program, two short performances to offer you different styles of ropes as well as a plurality of genres in the ties. The first performance will feature Juliette, Raphaël & May Dosem, and the second will present Eric & Laurianne. The traditional jam will follow, this time accompanied by live music on the electro-acoustic violin and looper.
